Jessica Mass Levitt, Ph.D.

Evidence Based Screening and Assessment Programs

Jessica Mass Levitt, Ph.D. consults on Evidence-Based Screening and Assessment Programs for the REACH Institute. Also an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Columbia University, her research focuses on methods for improving the identification and treatment of youth mental health problems in a variety of service sectors including schools, primary care, and traditional mental health settings.  

Dr. Levitt received a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University at Albany, State University of New York.  She completed the clinical child track internship at the Pediatric Psychiatry Clinic in New York Presbyterian Hospital, the University Hospitals of Columbia and Cornell, in conjunction with Columbia University and New York State Psychiatric Institute. She received a BA with distinction and high honors in psychology from the University of Michigan. Dr. Levitt is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Association for the Advancement of Behavior and Cognitive Therapies, the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, and the National Association of School Psychologists.

 

In addition to her work at REACH, Dr. Levitt is a cognitive-behavioral therapist for the Child/Adolescent Anxiety Multimodal Study at New York State Psychiatric Institute, and she is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice specializing in cognitive-behavioral treatment.
